“Think B4 You Speak” — Erika Salter and Lynsi Blankenship create PSA

Salter Entertainment Group, SEG, enters PSA in “Think B4 You Speak” online video contest. Erika Salter partnered with Lynsi Blankenship, director, to create an emotional PSA geared to educate youth about the prevalence and consequences of bullying and anti-LGBT behavior. The winner will travel to Los Angeles where they will be honored at GLSEN’s Respect Awards and presented with an award by Brett Ratner.

Recognizing the rise of the bullying epidemic, Erika A. Salter, SEG’s President and Executive Producer states, “Our team created a piece that shows true insight and pain of those bullied. The project touched the hearts of everyone involved from the actors to the make-up artists. We are honored to enter in a PSA we can all be proud of.”

To date, the campaign has included TV, radio, print and online ads featuring celebrities such as Hilary Duff, Wanda Sykes and player Grant Hill. SEG looks forward to be added to the ranks with such personalities.

WHEN: Voting for PSA begins May 31st through June 6th

WHERE: Online entries are valid through the U.S.A to win the grand prize to the GLSEN awards in Los Angeles, CA.

WHO: Erika A. Salter, President of SEG, has partnered with Lindsey Blankenship on a 30 second PSA for online video campaign, “Think B4 You Speak.”

WHY: SEG is excited about the opportunity to share this gift with the production community.  The objective of the competition is to draw attention to an important cause and SEG understand the impact video could have on starting the end of the bullying epidemic.
