Recap: Holla II Atlanta Premiere

H.M. Coakley has done it again, with his with second installment of his 2007 hit HOLLA. HOLLA II is described as “a scary, sexy, funny movie” and it lives up to it’s name. This horror-comedy, is noted as the first black horror film in theaters in 13 years, that in itself is a milestone.

The film stars the amazing talents of Vanessa Bell Calloway, Trae Ireland, Akeem Smith, Keily Williams, Omar Gooding, Teairra Mari, Liana Mendoza, and new to acting, Monica “DollPhace” Floyd.

HOLLA II opens Friday April 19th in Atlanta, Baltimore Houston, Detroit, New York, and Washington DC; then Friday April 26th in Chicago, Memphis, Philadelphia, Norfolk, Charlotte, and the Virgin Islands. Make sure you support the film in theaters near you.

The Atlanta movie premiere was April 15th at the AMC Phipps Plaza. Appearances were made by the cast and director who were gracious to meet the fans and media to talk about their latest project. At the end of the movie, viewers were buzzing with compliments and raves on the movie and cast performances.

After a successful showing at the Pan African Film Festival in March 2013, it was announced that Rockstone Releasing in association with True Vision Media Group to distribute H. M. Coakley’s, HOLLA II.
